Information for Childcare Centres
Did you know that the Community Music Education Program could come to your childcare centre? The CMEP has established programming that can be adapted to your centre’s needs. Classes are taught in your centre on a weekly basis. Our teachers are professionals in Early Childhood Music Education who strive to develop musical skills and foster a love of music in your children. Our program covers concepts and skills such as: feeling the difference between speaking and singing voices, encouraging clear articulation, actively learning many songs and rhymes (including 'seasonal' material), handling simple rhythm instruments, and discovering the concept of opposites: high/low, fast/slow, loud/quiet.
